Peter Thijs

Peter Thijs is an award-winning Dutch artist, born in 1950 in Heeze. After studying art school in Tilburg, Peter returned to Eindhoven to teach at the Design Academy.
His mission is to depict from ordinary themes such as landscapes, portraits, figures and objects. To reveal the extraordinary through the imagination; stories about shape, colour and material of what we call reality. Interpreting the visual, examining his psyche.
Today, Peter is retired and focuses all his time on improving his art pieces and painting new ones. His art has been sold all over the world, from Europe, to Canada and Australia
